Exercise more, eat less
Shhhh, don’t look… Just had 2 delicious donuts…, so today I won’t be looking to my scale, shhhh…
The theory of loosing weight
It’s not rocket science I am told: if you eat more than you burn, you will gain fat. As simple as that.
The problem with loosing weight
You probably heard this sentence about a 10.000 times: if you want to lose weight, you need to exercise more and eat less.
The problem is:
- it’s hard to start exercising when you are a lazy bum like me. That’s what we learned in boring physics class: "a body loves to maintain its exact movement". For a lazy body like me, that boils down to maintaining my position in my sofa, laptop included
- when you eat less, your body is going to adapt and extract even more nutrients out of your daily food intake. So the less you eat, the better your body becomes a fat producing system. Now that’s scary!
The secret of loosing weight
(… is worth lots of money …)
So the secret to successful weight loss is:
- make sure you move more than before
- eat the same amount of food: just make sure it’s more healthy than before
In stead of me writing this post and you reading it, we should be working out right now, shouldn’t we?
