The theory of loosing weight
It’s not rocket science I am told: if you eat more than you burn, you will gain fat. As simple as that.
The problem with loosing weight
You probably heard this sentence about a 10.000 times: if you want to lose weight, you need to exercise more and eat less.
The problem is:
- it’s hard to start exercising when you are a lazy bum like me. That’s what we learned in boring physics class: "a body loves to maintain its exact movement". For a lazy body like me, that boils down to maintaining my position in my sofa, laptop included
- when you eat less, your body is going to adapt and extract even more nutrients out of your daily food intake. So the less you eat, the better your body becomes a fat producing system. Now that’s scary!

So the secret to successful weight loss is:
- make sure you move more than before
- eat the same amount of food: just make sure it’s more healthy than before

What do I think about green tea?
First and foremost I love the taste of jasmine green tea, but then I love jasmine soap as well, but that doesn’t make me able to wash of the fat
The Chinese say that after a meal with lots of fat, you should drink Chinese tea in order to cleanse your body from the fatty food intake.
Personally I think it is all much more simple: when you drink healthy drinks like water or green tea, you reduce the consumption of the way too much sugar containing carbonated soft drinks. Less sugar means less energy, means your body is not going to store the fat it just consumed.
On top of that: the more water you have in your body, the less there is space for anything else
Although water makes me craving for food, when I drink tea this craving is much less, so grean tea doesn’t make me slim, but the idea of not having a need for food does!
I wonder what Doctor Oz would say about my 2 cents medical advice
